"Pride" – a joint film of France and the UK. 1984, England is ruled by Iron Lady Margaret. The wrath of the government was first directed to the representatives of homosexual love. But then the miners went on strike, and all the attention of government agencies is now switched to them. The leader of the same-sex movement activists, mark, decided – we are oppressed, they are oppressed, it turns out that we are comrades in misfortune. He organizes a fundraiser to help the families of the miners. But the miners ' Union is somehow not very happy with the unexpected support and does not hurry to accept the money. Then the gays and lesbians get on the bus and then go to the village where the miners live to complete their action.
