The film is based on the novel of the same name by Winston Groom. The plot of the film tells about the fascinating life of a guy named forest Gump.
Little Forrest lives with his mother in Alabama, in a town called Greenbow. He has health problems, and everything else the boy has an intelligence disorder, so his mother has to make a lot of effort to get him into a normal school. At school, Forrest is constantly bullied by his peers, but it helps him learn to run very fast, which in the future gives the guy a chance to become a student, and become one of the best Amateur athletes in the country. After graduating from University, Forrest goes into the army, and falls on the outbreak of the war in Vietnam...
