The plot of the film, based on a true story, is centered on Fred Rogers and Lloyd Vogel. Fred is a friendly and patient children's TV show host who has dedicated his life to good causes. Lloyd is an award-winning journalist and hardened cynic who is tasked with interviewing Rogers.
