The story is about a married writer Laura, who lives happily with two children and her husband Dean, a successful businessman. One day, after several strange coincidences, the heroine gets suspicious that Dean is cheating on her with a new colleague. Laura shares her experiences with her eccentric father Felix, who cheated on her mother more than once. He offers to arrange for Dean to be followed. During a night of adventures in new York, it turns out that all the problems are not in Dean, but in the relationship between daughter and father.
