"Exodus: Gods and Kings" is the story of the prophet Moses, who at the behest of the Lord freed the Jews from slavery. In Ancient Egypt, Pharaoh gave orders to destroy all born boys whose parents were Jews. Moses ' mother was afraid for her son's life and put the child in a basket, sending it downstream of the Nile. The boy was destined to be saved, he was noticed by the daughter of Pharaoh, who later adopted the boy. Moses grew up with Ramses, the future Pharaoh of Egypt. Growing up, Moses escaped from Egypt, but the Lord ordered to return back, because it was he who should save the Jews from slavery.
